Market Hall @ Pavilion, KL

Market Hall ! Definitely one of the restaurants in Pavilion which serves authentic Western cuisine. (well, comparing this to the usual meals at fast food restaurants in the mall ;) ) It is located at Level 6 (opposite TGI Friday's). According to my dear friend, Market Hall comes from the same company as TGI Friday's. This restaurant was highly recommended by a friend of mine. (Well, partly coz she was previously working there part time lols) But nevertheless, the food was really good. :)

Market Hall's interior (well one side of it coz I was facing this angle :P )

complimentary breadsticks as starters

The breadsticks were crispy and aromatic. They were taken together with a  sauce made of tomatoes (not the usual tomato sauce), a perfect combination of sweet and sour at the same time. Loved the sauce :)  (we forgot to snap a pic of the sauce. our apologies :x )

From left : Pasta of the Day  -  RM 32.90
                  Signature Pizza  -    RM 38.90

Market Hall offers different Pasta of The Day to its customers everyday.  On the day we had this dish, it was a combination of beef bacon, cream saffron, paprika sauce and some fresh herbs.  The taste was superb. :) What I meant was, you wouldn't get the 'jelak' kind of taste whenever you're having carbonara pasta. It was just nice. :)

One unique thing bout Market Hall is that it allows you to create your very own gourmet pizza. You can choose your own combination of toppings from different range of prices. Well, as for lazy ppl like us, we chose one of its signature pizza offered on the menu : smoked salmon, avocado, cream cheese, capers, fresh dill and baby spinach (RM 34.90) . We added an additional topping on top of it : sundried tomatoes (RM4). The result : DELICIOUS. I've never tasted pizza with raw toppings on it. The fine blend of raw avocado, baby spinach, fresh dill and smoked salmon was scrumptious! The sundried tomatoes were awesome, and the cream cheese fit in perfectly.  (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) :D :D

Tiramisu - RM15.90

I'm not gonna elaborate much bout it since y'll know what a tiramisu is. lols. Anyways , it tasted fresh and it was great as a dessert. :)

Chocolate Mocha Soufflé - RM12.90

It ain't cold, it was hot. It tasted like a chocolate + mocha cake drink. But it was yumsss ;)

Free Carrot cake! :D due to my friend's b'day. :D

The restaurant owns a bar as well : Bedroom.

I haven't been inside it before but from what I've heard, they  host a Models' Nite every now and then.  ( which means you'll get to see many models there! lols)

If you think in numbers:
Price: 6.5 /10 (It was slightly pricey but nevertheless, the food was worth the price. :) )
Service: 8.5 /10 (Very friendly servers. Even the manager kept asking us how was the food and offered to take a picture for us.lols. Prolly he was a lil' too friendly :P  )
Environment: 8/10 (It's moderately classy. But it's a bit noisy due to many customers. You can't really have a quiet fine dining environment there. But still, we go for the food, no? lols )
Food: 8 /10 (seriously authentic western cuisine cooked right on the spot. not like your usual western food.)
Comments: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. :) I would definitely go back again. Great for occasions (if you're worried bout the price).
