Regency Tower Apartment @ Hotel Tower Regency, Ipoh.

We're talking about Hotel Tower Regency, Ipoh! What'sup? Regency Tower Apartment'sup! To be honest, it's kinda mind-twisting. Why would they even call their apartments as "Regency Tower Apartment" considering their general hotel name is Hotel Tower Regency? Confusing!

Toilet, toilet, toilet! That's the first thing I inspect when stepping into a hotel room/apartment (any rented space that I'll be living in for a given duration of time). Horrible toilet : horrible hotel! In that apartment, there were two toilets all together. One was bigger than the other. One had a bathtub while the other had only a standing shower. Everything was ok with the toilet until I saw used toiletries beside the window. Room service must had been lazy and didn't do a very good job. Hygiene? OK-lah....

Of course, that's just my theory-lah...You guys out there might have a different view on hotels. Their curtains perhaps? Or maybe the bed? Hmmm...You tell me! =D

Clean and "half-naked" beds.
Did I just say half-naked? Checkout the beds! No "bottom sheet" makes it look SEXY? If you're not fussy, this shouldn't be a problem. Above shows one of the two bedrooms at the apartment which is the smaller unit. The other bedroom is bigger with much unused space good for break dancing.
The bigger room
This is the bigger room. It shows an opposite view of the bed- the bed's perspective. Very spacious, kid you not. Oh, wanna know what's outside the window?

Aerial view of Ipoh city
A balcony that paints an aerial view of Ipoh city! Ok, there's nothing significant in the "Ipoh City View" but just so you know-lah what you're facing outside the window. A total of three balconies were found in the apartment. Not really significant, but a plus point.

The pantry

Cups, an electric kettle, sink, coffee, creamer, etc...
This post would end here. Short, sweet, and simple. But too bad it's an apartment, so I think it's only practical to keep going with some other information an apartment should have. Aite, the pantry is basic. No stove, no microwave, no coffee brewer. Got all-of-the-above! Basically, it's just the common stuff you get at hotels. Nothing special. Yawnnss...

Astro TV guide
The 21" TV (small for big eyes like mine) had Astro; selected channels.

Living room
Spacious. Good for break dancing, chicken dancing, line dancing, whatever dancing -lah.
Can wan.

Now, stuffs that impressed me the most...

Living room area

Nice color combination. I like it. Color is subjective, so go ahead and disagree all you want if you think these colors are weird when put together.

If you think in numbers:
Price: 7.5 /10 (
RM320.00 nett with four breakfasts. This room is designed for four. But I believe you can fit 6,7 or even 8 people in!)
Service: -/10 (I wouldn't know, no telecommunication with their operators. But as far as facility is concerned, I was not impressed.)
Environment: 6/10 (should be 5, but an extra point for the aerial view of Ipoh City.)
Hygiene: 8/10 (was clean with minor flaws here and there. Definitely not a place that makes you meluat)
Comments: Hmmmm...I would come here if I need some additional space for activities. Highly recommended for church camps, seminars, conferences, etc.

Do you happen to have a pic of the room with a King size bed? I read in TA that the King bed is actually a Queen bed turned on sides.

Quote from TA
"the std 6' length was lined against the headboard and the 5' width of a queen bed used as the length....so for anyone taller than 5' your feet will stick out beyond the mattress and sheets ...."

Is this the case?
